'Grease Live' beat Beyoncé's 'Lemonade' at the Emmys and people have thoughts

When it comes to awards snubs, it seems that for the 2016 cycle, the internet finds the complete lack of Emmys for Beyonce's visual titan Lemonade the most egregious.
Last week, it lost out to a Carpool Karaoke primetime showing for Best Variety Special. And Sunday night Grease: Live*directors Thomas Kail (who is also the genius who directed Hamilton)*and*Alex Rudzinski*won the award for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special at the Emmys over*Beyonce and*Kahlil Joseph*for*Lemonade (which is eligible because it originally aired on HBO).
