LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Naib Ameer Rashid Naseem condemned the arrest of Opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Khwaja Izharul Hasan without the k**wledge of Sindh chief minister and Sindh Assembly Speaker.
He termed it violation of the constitution and law.He said the persons involved in crimes must be detained but the legal procedure be followed, otherwise, such actions would worsen the situation.
Meanwhile, JI Naib Ameer Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, giving Friday sermon at Mansoora Masjim, urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to plead the Kashmiris’ case at United Nations with full courage.
He said India’s repression in Indian-held Kashmir had reached its heights and even UN had taken **tice of that which was welcome. However, he said, there was a possibility that the Pakistani ruler could **t forcefully present the Kashmir issue before the world community due to his ‘friendship’ with Modi.
The JI leader slated Afghan President Ashraf Ghani’s arrogance against Pakistan during his Indian visit and termed it the worst example of ingratitude. He said enemy was using its puppets to cause dissent in Muslim Ummah.
He said the enemies of Islam had joined hands to divide the Muslims, so the Muslim world should meet the challenge through its unity.He said the blood of Muslims was being shed all over the world. He asked the Muslim rulers to sit together to devise a strategy to stop this bloodshed and face the challenges. He said it was a part of the faith of every citizen to defend every inch of the country and every citizen of the country was ready for that but, unfortunately, the country lacked a bold leadership. He said the masses should strive to change the prevailing situation.
