There were rumours afloat around Priyanka Chopra’s supposed move to L.A, where it was rumoured that Chopra would be buying a house in L.A if her show Quantico got renewed for a**ther season. It makes sense that Chopra is making a place for herself in Hollywood but we don’t mean in the physical sense. While she denied the rumours, saying she lives in India and isn’t going anywhere, Chopra definitely has made her mark in international waters and Forbes has confirmed that for us.
According to their list of highest paid female TV stars, Chopra’s stint in Quantico is faring really well for her. Securing the 8th position on the list, Chopra roped in $11 million last year, beating actresses such as Julie Bowen (Modern Family) and Zooey Deschanel (New Girl). Her earnings are a combination of acting fees as well as endorsements, as stated by Forbes. Also, Chopra is the first Indian to be featured on this coveted list. What makes it a truly remarkable feat for Chopra is the fact that amongst all the other actresses on the list, Chopra is the one of the few who made her TV debut just last year while most others featured on the list have been around for several seasons.

The queen of TV continues to be Modern Family star Sofia Vergara, who has been the highest paid TV actress for the past 5 years. The 44-year-old Columbian star topped the list, bringing in a whopping $43 million, which isn’t surprising as her much acclaimed role as Gloria Delgado Pritchett in Modern family has given her four Golden Globe Awards, four Primetime Emmy Awards, and seven Screen Actors Guild Awards. Also, if all that isn’t e**ugh, she has also been ranked as the 32nd most powerful woman in the world by Forbes in 2014.
Second on the list was Kaley Cuoco who didn’t even come close to Vergara, despite securing the second position, bringing home $24.5million, thanks to her appearance on The Big Bang Theory, created by comedy mastermind Chuck Lorre (alongside Bill Prady)
Mindy Kaling came up third with $15 million, followed by a tie for fourth place between Ellen Pompeo (of Grey’s Anatomy) and Mariska Hargitay of (NYPD Special Victims Unit), both of whom made $14.5 million.
