Samsung's Galaxy **te7 phones are taking a serious toll on the company's share price.
Samsung's shares had dropped more than 6 percent on Monday, opening the week sharply lower following following dozens of reports of Samsung Galaxy **te7 (http://mashable.com/2016/09/09/cpsc-samsung-galaxy-**te-7-recall/mashable.com/2016/08/16/samsung-galaxy-**te7-review/?utm_campaign=&utm_context=textlink&utm_medium=rss&utm_source=) smartphones exploding (http://mashable.com/2016/09/02/samsung-galaxy-**te-7-burnt/).
The issue was serious e**ugh to warrant a warning from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), which advised **te7 owners (http://mashable.com/2016/09/09/cpsc-samsung-galaxy-**te-7-recall/) to "power them down and stop charging or using the device."
