Here are the groups heading into 'League of Legends' Worlds 2016

Groups have been drawn for the first leg of the 2016 League of Legends World Championship (http://mashable.com/2016/09/06/league-of-legends-2016-worlds/), which kicks off with round robins at the end of September.

The 16 qualifying teams have been split into four groups of four (http://www.lolesports.com/en_US/articles/group-draw-show-results) based on their seeding from regional spring and summer seasons. Only the top two teams in each group will move onto the quarterfinals in October.

Counter Logic Gaming
Albus **x Luna
Rox Tigers — South Korean Summer Split champions — are the number one seed in group A, going up against Europe's champions G2 Esports, **rth America's second team Counter Logic Gaming (http://mashable.com/2016/08/27/na-lcs-third-immortals-gaming/) and CIS wildcard team Albus **x Luna. G2 Esports were the only major region's champions that did **t get a top seed for the group stage due to their spotty performance in 2016, specifically at the Mid-Season Invitational. Read more...
