CHARSADDA: A lady health worker has asked the chief of army staff and prime minister to take action against the armed men for setting her house on fire in Prang Ghar area in Mohmand Agency.
Talking to reporters here on Sunday, Qimat Zari said that her family had purchased a four kanal plot from her relatives Murad and Abbas and had paid Rs55,000 in advance.She alleged that influential persons of the area, including Ashraf, Badre Zaman, Zahir Shah and others were against the transaction.
They submitted an application to the political administration and paid bribe to tehsildar Ajam Khan who imposed a fine of Rs200,000 on the family. Her family had paid the fine but the official did **t give any receipt to the family, she said, adding, that her family had submitted an appeal at the Fata Tribunal, which would decide the case on December 18.
She alleged that around 300 armed men stormed her home on September 6. She claimed that her family was evicted from the home and the armed men set the house on fire and all the valuables were reduced to ashes.She appealed the chief of army staff, prime minister and Chief Justice of Pakistan to take action against the officials of political administration and criminals for making her family homeless and depriving them of their property.
