QUETTA: Asad Khan Tareen, the son of Balochistan Minister for Local Government Sardar Mustafa Khan Tareen, who was kidnapped by unidentified persons around four months ago, was freed by his captors and he reached his home in Pishin on Thursday.
The family sources confirmed his return but avoided sharing further details.The Levies Force sources, however, claimed that both security forces and local tribal elders played a role in his safe recovery. They said the kidnappers freed Asad in the Doo Naddi area of Gulistan tehsil of Qila Abdullah district, situated near the Pak-Afghan border.Asad, an employee of Cadet College Pishin, was kidnapped May 19 when he left for his home. Later, his car was found abandoned near an area close to the college.
