PESHAWAR: Seven policemen and a passerby were injured when a police mobile was targeted in a roadside bomb at Warsak Road in Darmangi area of Peshawar on Thursday.
Sources said the police van was on its routine patrolling when the roadside bomb exploded, injuring seven police personnel and a passerby. The injured were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital.
They added that it was remote controlled bomb.
Security personnel have cordoned off the area.
On Friday, security forces thwarted a major terrorist attack and killed all four suicide bombers in exchange of fire after the militants launched attack in Warsak Dam Colony of Peshawar.
Two FC soldiers, a police constable, two civil guards, one levies official and one civilian were injured in exchange of fire with the terrorists.
