KARACHI: Miscreants set fire to two buses and a truck during the late hours of Wednesday night.
According to details, a bus in Karachi's Landhi area was torched by unidentified persons, who fled the area before law enforcement personnel arrived. Police said that investigation was currently going on to catch the culprits of the act.
Police stated that bus owner Liaquat was being extorted for money and when he refused to pay, the bus was torched. A**ther bus was set on fire in **rth Nazimabad's Bufferzone area.
A truck was also set on fire in Federal B Area block 6. Police said that it was being investigated whether the truck had caught fire due to an act of terrorism or whether it was only an accident.
Fortunately, ** loss of life was reported in all of these incidents. MQM's Rabita Committee Pakistan issued a statement condemning the incidents and asked law enforcement personnel to arrest the culprits involved in such activities.
These incidences had occurred within a difference of a couple of hours on Wednesday night.
