Juice, ice cream factories raided
Anti-adulteration cases registered in Phoolnagar

PHOOLNAGAR: Assistant Commissioner Shahrukh Niazi raided nine local and international food factories during an anti-adulteration campaign here on Monday.
He raided Walls Ice Cream Factory, Multan Road, Nathey Khalsa, Pattoki; Golden Juice Industry, Multan Road, Adda Golden, Pattoki; Meezan *********, Multan Road, Dina Nath, Pattoki; Maaza Juice Industry, Multan Road, Adda Saran, Pattoki; Unilever Pakistan Food Ltd, Multan Road, Phoolnagar; Fresh Juice Industry of a sugar mill, Multan Road, Pattoki; Warda Juice Industry, Multan Road, Jumber; Haleeb Food Industry, Multan Road, Jumber and Big Bird Foods Ltd, Multan Road, Jumber.
The assistant commissioner got cases registered against the owners and general managers of the factories under Section 23E of the Punjab Pure Food Act 2016. All factories are running their business without the pure food licence.
