KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Zia chief (PML-Z) and MNA Muhammad Ejazul Haq has said that they should **t take **tice of the anti-Pakistan speech of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Pakistan was threatened by the Modis within the country other than the Modi of India.
Ejazul Haq expressed these views while addressing a press conference at Nursery in Karachi on Sunday. He said that they need to pay attention to the accomplices of Indian PM Narendra Modi who were out to destabilise Pakistan.
He said that anti-Pakistan elements and some friends were suffering from frustration due to the CPEC project. He said that Gwadar Port was situated at such a point where ships of several countries could reach there in nine days instead of 29 days and, therefore, the countries on whose ports those ships would **t anchor were opposing the project.
Ejazul Haq said that Kashmir was an important issue at the present time. He said it was necessary for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to invite the leaders of political parties present in parliament to accompany him on the occasion of his address at the United Nations General Assembly, so that a positive message could be conveyed to the world community.
He said that he too would visit Europe along with other legislators to highlight the Kashmir issue. Ejazul Haq said that rallies and sit-ins of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and PAT chief Tahirul Qadri would **t make any difference and it was the need of the time to demonstrate national solidarity and issues should be resolved through consultations and mutual understanding.
He said that all the parties agreed at the time of the National Action Plan (NAP) but with the passage of time some parties dissociated themselves from it, saying that action was being taken against them. He said that all should be on one page on the issue of terrorism.
He said that India was carrying out terrorist activities to divert the attention of the world from the Kashmir issue. He said India was also using chemicals on Kashmiri protesters and as a result over 85 Kashmiris had died so far and several hundred injured and some of them had lost their eye-sights.
Ejazul Haq said that action should be taken against those who raised anti-Pakistan slogans. He also appreciated the passage of resolution in the National Assembly against those who chanted the anti-Pakistan slogans. He said that Mohajir was that community who offered sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan and they were patriots and they should **t be derailed.
