A dramatic video showing the explosion of an uncrewed SpaceX rocket (http://mashable.com/2016/09/01/spacex-pad-explosion-florida/) in Cape Canaveral, Florida was captured on Thursday morning.
The rocket, which was expected to carry a Facebook-backed Israeli satellite to space on Saturday, exploded on its pad before a test took place.
The video of the failed test shows the rocket bursting into flames and black ***** billowing from the destruction.
In a statement, SpaceX confirmed the incident, saying: "In preparation for today’s static fire there was an a**maly on the pad resulting in the loss of the vehicle and its payload. Per standard procedure, the pad was clear and there were ** injuries."* Read more...
