BERLIN — Quick, what’s the most important feature you want from a tablet? I’m guessing it’s either better battery life or a better screen, with sound likely being an afterthought. But sound is what Huawei focused on in its new, 8.4-inch Android tablet just shown at an event in Berlin. *
It’s called the MediaPad M3, and Huawei partnered with Harman Kardon for the tablet’s 1W stereo speakers, while a**ther company from the world of hi-fi, AKG, has been responsible for designing the accompanying H300 earphones. Huawei added a bit of its own software tweaking to the mix; one feature that stands out is the tablet’s automatic choice of the best sound settings, depending on whether you’re listening to music or watching video.
