Apple CEO Tim Cook weighed in the recent European Commission tax ruling that stated Apple must pay Ireland $14.5 billion in unpaid taxes (http://mashable.com/2016/08/30/apple-eu-commission-ireland-taxes/?utm_campaign=&utm_context=textlink&utm_medium=rss&utm_source=) by calling it "maddening" and "political crap."

In an interview with Irish broadcaster RTE (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-37242357), Cook said Apple hasn't done anything wrong and the ruling "has ** basis in fact or in law."*
"When you're accused of doing something that is so foreign to your values, it brings out an outrage in you, and that's how we feel," he said. "Apple has always been about doing the right thing.
