Young Ruby was practicing her swing on the Magenta Shores Golf Course in New South Wales, Australia, earlier this week, when things took an interesting turn.*
The 8-year-old golf champ's training sesh was being filmed by a drone. The owner of which was her uncle, creative director of the website DRONEGEAR (http://www.dronegear.tv/%20), Alex Kavanagh. As he told Mashable via email, his drone "got a bit lower than I should have and looked away for a second," and next minute, the drone was down.*
Although it was an accident, the injuries the drone sustained only serve as a testament to Ruby's talent. The YUNEEC Typhoon H copped a broken leg, a broken boom on its arms, two broken propellers and a semi-twisted camera.* Read more...
