RO issues **tice to Imran

BUREWALA: District Election Commissioner and PP-232 Returning ******r Amir Javed on Tuesday issued a show-cause **tice to Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan for holding a public rally for party candidate Ayesha Nazir Jatt.
He ordered Imran Khan to submit his written reply within 48 hours afterwards proceedings against him would be initiated under Article 204 of the Constitution and 103-A of the Representation of the People Act 1976.
According to the show-cause **tice, PTI chairman Imran Khan’s action is a clear violation of the code of conduct and directives issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan, which clearly bars visits of the MNAs and MPAs to the constituency where election schedule has been an**unced.
