That's the tact taken in Microsoft's latest commercial extolling the virtues of the Surface Pro 4 (http://mashable.com/category/surface-pro/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial) while slamming Apple's 13-inch MacBook Air.

The entire spot is presided over by a straw hat-wearing singer, who breaks down the Surface's superiority with elaborate Jonathan Coulton (http://mashable.com/category/jonathan-coulton/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial)-style lyrics. We totally get the parts highlighting the Surface's touchscreen, stylus option and detachable keyboard, but the cat transformation part was less than cute, and maybe a little scary.
