BATKHELA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and adviser to Prime Minister Amir Muqam on Sunday said the federal government had approved development projects worth Rs100 billion for the Malakand Division.
Speaking at a public meeting in Thana, he said some of these projects were being constructed while work on others would be started soon. He said the federal government had allocated sufficient funds for the Lowari Tunnel but had **t used the project for political point-scoring.
The PML-N leader believed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was being controlled from Banigala. “The term of Remote Control Chief Minister has been introduced in the so-called government of change, which is being operated by Asad Umar and Jehangir Tareen from Banigala,” he said.
He said masses were fed up with the abusive language of Imran Khan whose sole achievement in the country’s politics was mud-slinging.“People have rejected the container politics. They want a real change which could **t be brought about by inaugurating one project in three-years,” he added.
He said those finding faults with the PML-N government’s performance should also think about the restoration of peace in the country, improvement in foreign exchange and mega development projects. He an**unced establishment of a Nadra ******, provision of gas and electricity and resurvey of the Benazir Income Support Programme in Thana.A former town Nazim Jamal Khan joined the PML-N along with hundreds of his colleagues on the occasion.
