FAISALABAD:The District Quality Control Board has decided to refer 13 cases against the medical stores to the Drug Court for prosecution involved in sale of medicines without drug licenses and other relevant offences.
The decision was taken in a meeting, held under the chairmanship of DCO Salman Ghani at his ******.
EDO Health Dr Nawazish, Deputy District Prosecutor Sajeela Nazeer, Secretary Board Arif Shahzad and others attended the meeting.
The board decided to lodge FIRs against a medical store involved in selling unregistered, unwarranted and spurious *****.
The meeting issued warning to a medical store while 11 cases were adjourned for summoning the qualified drug license holders.
The DCO Salman Ghani directed the drug inspectors for launching an operation against the sale of spurious medicines in the city.
