ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday clarified a new item, suggesting the Sindh chief minister rejected a proposal by the Commission for postponement of mayoral election in Karachi following the Karachi events. The ECP’s issued a statement to clarify that ** postponement of election in the mega city was ever considered by the Commission or even discussed with the provincial government ever.
