PESHAWAR: The Corridor Front, a body opposing the current route of China-Pakistan Eco**mic Corridor, has an**unced to stage protest against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government after accusing it of having failed to protect the rights of the Pakhtuns.
Addressing a news conference here on Wednesday, Dr Said Alam Mehsud and Farid Khan Toofan said the provincial government was unaware of the award of its 120 kilometer land from Thakot to Havelian. They said the provincial government had repeatedly denied imposing Section 4 for land acquisition but the section had already been imposed. If the provincial government was unaware of it, it should be considered as its inability. The Corridor Front leaders asked the provincial government to lift the Section-4 or else it would be considered the enemies of the Pakhtuns. They set one-week deadline for the provincial government to lift the section and award punishment to the ******rs involved in it.
