'The Ring' returns with creepy trailer for new chapter of terror 'Rings'

Paramount has released the first trailer for Rings, a creepy new chapter in The Ring franchise that introduces the world's deadliest viral video to the next generation of horror fans.
Rising star Matilda Lutz plays a young woman who becomes worried about her boyfriend when he explores a dark subculture surrounding a mysterious videotape that is said to kill the watcher seven days after viewing it.*She sacrifices herself to save him and in doing so, makes a horrifying discovery — there is a “movie within the movie” that ** one has ever seen before.
