Two arms smugglers arrested in **wshera

**WSHERA: The police foiled a bid to smuggle arms to Punjab and arrested two accused here on Thursday, police sources said. They said that the police received information that arms were being smuggled to Punjab from Frontier Region, Peshawar through Grand Trunk Road. The police established checkpoints on the GT Road in Taru Jabba and recovered eight Kalakovs, 19 pistols and thousands cartridges from secret cavities of a car. The police arrested two accused identified as Gul Jamal and Abdur Rahim and registered a case against them. — By our correspondent
