Don't worry, Zac Efron: you still have a shot with Simone Biles. POPSUGAR caught up with the gold medal winner today over the phone from Rio, where Simone and the rest of the Team USA gymnasts are still hanging out following their insanely successful performance at the Games (http://www.popsugar.com/news/Simone-Biles-Quote-About-Usain-Bolt-Michael-Phelps-42213403).
Simone told us her celebrity crush, who flew to Rio to surprise her, is just as wonderful in person as she hoped. "I've heard a lot of good things about him way before I met him," Simone told us. "I heard he was very nice and he was just a really good person. He was very genuine - and a little starstruck that he got to meet us! I just thought it was really cool that he took time out to come to Rio."
Simone also says that Zac's kiss on the cheek (http://www.popsugar.com/celebrity/Simone-Biles-Meets-Zac-Efron-Rio-Olympics-2016-42232186) mid-selfie was a total surprise. "I didn't see it coming at all."
With all that in mind, we had to ask: are Simone and her self-described "Brazilian boyfriend," fellow gymnast Arthur Maria** (http://www.popsugar.com/celebrity/Simone-Biles-Brazilian-Boyfriend-Calls-Out-Zac-Efron-42244688), really an item? "**, he's my international boyfriend," she clarified. "It's **t a real thing, it's just something fun for us to do because our paths do cross!"
So, does that mean Zac still has hope? Simone laughed: "Yes, he still does have a chance!"
