Two-hour rain exposes TMA’s tall claims

JARANWALA: Two-hour rain exposed tall claims of TMA regarding its smooth running of drainage system.
The rain lashed the city and its rural areas, disrupting daily routine of locals owing to poor arrangements of the TMA.
The rain water entered the houses and inundated streets and bazaars of the city, causing severe troubles for locals.
Reportedly, ** action was visible from the staff of the TMA in areas where the rain water entered the houses and due to their negligence the water entered the houses.
The Lahore Road was inundated because the TMA had ig**red desilting of its main drain. The locals demanded the Punjab Chief Minister’s special attention in resolving their issue.
