TOBA TEK SINGH: An electrician was electrocuted at Gojra on Thursday. Ghulam Murtaza of Chak 49/GB was repairing a fan when his hand suddenly touched a live wire. As a result, he received an electric shock and died instantly.
MAN KILLED ON ROAD: A man was crushed to death by a truck here on Wednesday night.
Suhail Bashir of Chak 321/JB was on way from Toba when a truck coming from opposite direction hit his motorcycle, killing him on the spot.
Alleged kidnapper beaten black and blue

TOBA TEK SINGH: People foiled an abduction bid and brutally tortured an alleged kidnapper at Chak 711/GB near Kamalia on Thursday.
An unidentified youth enticed nine-year-old Muhammad Ramzan with a mobile phone. When he was taking away the child to the field, he raised hue and cry. To it, the villagers rushed to the spot. Seeing the villagers, the accused left the child and entered the field. The villages besieged the field and managed to overpower him. They brutally tortured him. Later, the accused was handed over to Kamalia Sadr police. Police are investigating.
