'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' does Hermione proud: a rebuttal

If there's one theme present in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter ******, it's that witches get sh*t done. And while Rowling was **t the sole, or even the main, writer of the current London stage play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," the power of her female characters continues.

Recently, a fellow Mashable contributor made her opinion k**wn (http://mashable.com/2016/08/17/harry-potter-cursed-child-female-characters/) that the narrative "betrays Hermione's legacy," calling out the play for "deflating and devaluing every female character." While I appreciate any content that's driven by Potter nerdiness, my own Hermione-esque k**w-it-all streak compels me to disprove that entire theory. Read more...
