Pokémon Go players, beware: Niantic is starting to get serious about *****ing down on cheaters.
The company is starting to permanently ban players who cheat either by spoofing their location or by using software to access the game "in an unauthorized manner."

First spotted by Redditors in the Pokémon Go developer subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemongodev/comments/4xct8f/psa_permabans_have_arrived_stop_all_use_of_3rd/), Niantic quietly updated (https://support.pokemongo.nianticlabs.com/hc/en-us/articles/225146308) their FAQ page to address the issue of banned accounts.
