LONDON: Pakistan were 97 for two in reply to England´s first innings 328, a deficit of 231 runs, at lunch on the second day of the fourth Test at The Oval on Friday.
Azhar Ali was 36 **t out and Asad Shafiq 24 **t out.
Resuming at three for one on second day, Azhar Ali along with night watchman Yasir Shah, who played some confident shots, made 49 for the second wicket. Then, Yasir departed after a fine innings of 26, laced with three fours.
Later, Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq added 45 runs for the unbeaten third wicket partnership before the lunch.
England lead the four-match ****** 2-1.
