Colorado-based artist Heather Kegel (http://www.heatherkegelart.com/functional-ceramics/) is creating ceramic art by combining one of the newest tech**logies with one of the oldest building materials.*

Using the machine that her father helped her build, Kegel is able to print a range of functional porcelain pieces, which is becoming a growing trend in the pottery community.*
