KARACHI: Provincial minister for Industries and Trade Manzoor Wassan undertook a surprise visit to the S.I.T.E Limited ****** on Tuesday to check the attendance and performance of the department.
According to details, Wassan visited the ****** of S.I.T.E Limited and visited various sections of the department. On **ticing the absence of the Managing Director of S.I.T.E Limited Ghulam Mujtaba, the minister issued him a show cause **tice. Wassan also expressed his anger and displeasure at the presence of broken chairs and lack of hygiene in the ******.
During his visit, he also found the ****** of the Secretary empty and the Deputy Chief Engineer was also **where to be found. Manzoor Wassan also issued show cause **tices to both persons for being absent from duty.
A bio-metric clerk was also issued a show cause **tice by the provincial minister for **t being able to supply him data regarding the employees of S.I.T.E Limited. Out of the 914 employees of S.I.T.E Limited, 308 were absent from duty. Wassan received the data of the employees who had **t reported for duty and issued directives for their salaries to be stopped.
He said that **w ** compromise would be made on performance hence employees and ******rs should rectify their behaviour.
