LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami naib ameer Rashid Naseem said the port city of Karachi had been awaiting an efficient and honest leadership for the last three decades as the performance of MQM and PPP was fully exposed over the time.
Addressing a JI central workshop at Mansoora on Saturday, he said Karachi used to be mini-Pakistan and the eco**mic hub of the country but those ruling the city were least concerned about citizens problems.
He said a single heavy rain had exposed the city management as the roads and streets were littered with garbage.
He said it was high time that masses rejected the corrupt leadership and voted for honest candidates.
