One of our faves is Nicole Bardawil, who starred in Egyptian superstar (http://www.albawaba.com/entertainment/amr-diab-perform-jordan-after-eight-year-absence-bringiton-830024) Amr Diab's "Habibi Ya **ur El Ein."
The song was released in 1996 and was an instant smash hit. Nightclubs in the Arab world, coffee shops and people in their homes still play it to this day.
