Aside from Sherlock, a British TV ****** that made global stars out of its cast members like Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, the only other TV ****** that has held a similar impact was Julian Fellowes’s period ******, Downton Abbey.
Though the show has said goodbye after six years, some of its key cast members have moved onto diametrically different American projects.
Among them is ‘Lady Mary Crawley’ Michelle Dockery who is gung-ho about starring in TNT’s new ******, Good Behaviour, which will make its debut in **vember.
“Downton was coming to an end and this script came to me and I fell in love with the character and the story,” said Dockery recently. “I was very fortunate that something so different from what I had been doing the last six years came my way.”
Speaking at a TCA panel, Dockery **ted how the two strong female characters have some similar parallels: “There are some parallels. It’s just a very different period; one happens to be in the ‘20s and the other is modern day. Letty is an extraordinary character, colorful, and raw, and fascinating to play, and I’m loving every minute of it. I hope it continues.”
The ****** is based on books by Blake Crouch and features Dockery as a thief and a con artist. “It’s a messed up love story in a conventional love story,” Dockery concluded.
