Apple (http://mashable.com/category/apple/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial) on Wednesday released its annual diversity (http://mashable.com/category/diversity/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial) report. And like in previous (http://mashable.com/2015/08/13/apple-diversity-report-2015/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial) years (http://mashable.com/2014/08/12/apple-diversity-report/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial), the company is still predominately white and male.*
But that doesn’t mean that its efforts to improve diversity haven't yielded improvements. This is the third year that the Cuperti** giant has released its diversity numbers and the balance is improving, albeit slowly.*

The report (http://www.apple.com/diversity/) showcases Apple’s diversity figures from fiscal 2016, which ran from June 2015 to June 2016.*
More female and underrepresented mi**rity new hires*
Globally, 32 percent of Apple’s employees are **w female. That’s up from 31 percent in 2015. And although a 1 percent improvement might **t seem massive, when you have 125,000 global employees, it is progress.* Read more...
