Apple designed the Safari Tech**logy Preview to test features that may be introduced into future release versions of Safari.
Safari Tech**logy Preview release 10 includes bug fixes and updates for JavaScript, web APIs, Apple Pay (http://www.macrumors.com/roundup/apple-pay/), Apple Pay, Web Inspector, MathML, rendering, accessibility, and security. As of release 8, Safari Tech**logy Preview has supported Apple Pay in the web browser, a feature set to launch as part of macOS Sierra (http://www.macrumors.com/roundup/macos-sierra/).
The Safari Tech**logy Preview update is available through the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store (http://www.macrumors.com/roundup/mac-app-store/) to anyone who has downloaded the browser (https://developer.apple.com/safari/download/). Versions are available for developers running both macOS Sierra and OS X El Capitan (http://www.macrumors.com/roundup/os-x-10-11/). Full release **tes for the update are available on the Safari Tech**logy Preview website (https://developer.apple.com/safari/tech**logy-preview/release-**tes/).
Apple's goal with Safari Tech**logy Preview is to gather feedback from developers and users on its browser development process. Safari Tech**logy Preview can be run side-by-side with the existing Safari browser and while aimed at developers, it does **t require a developer account to download.
