Good news, Android users: Google has updated Chrome (https://hameed.nwar.uk/vb/mashable.com/category/google-chrome?utm_campaign=&utm_context=textlink&utm_medium=rss&utm_source=) to make streaming video faster and smoother, suck up less battery and reduce data usage.
Improvements made to version 52 of Chrome will be "most **ticeable on short videos" according to the official Google Chrome blog (https://chrome.googleblog.com/2016/08/fast-and-smooth-video-on-android.html). Android users can download or update (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.android.chrome&hl=en) Chrome from the Google Play Store.
