Little girl releases butterfly and learns nature is brutal

What could have been a wonderful lesson in the beauty of life quickly turns into a grim lesson on death as a little girl releases a newly hatched butterfly into the wild.
"Go to your nature place," the girl says in an attempt to coax the butterfly off her net.*
"Go to where you belong, butterflies," *the girl's mother says.
Of course as the butterfly makes its maiden flight, a bird discovers the easy prey and eats it right in front of the nice family.
Nature, you're brutal.*
