Idina Menzel will soon be your hero (again).
The Frozen actress and Broadway superstar will star in a TV remake of Beaches for Lifetime, Mashable has confirmed.*
Entertainment Weekly (http://www.ew.com/article/2016/07/28/idina-menzel-beaches-lifetime-bette-midler), which first broke the news, **tes that Menzel will take on Bette Midler's role of CC from the 1988 classic, which tells the story of two women who come from very different backgrounds meeting on the Venice Boardwalk and becoming lifelong friends.*
The Lifetime movie is expected to feature new versions of “Wind Beneath My Wings” and “The Glory of Love" sung by Menzel, as well as new songs recorded specifically for the movie.* Read more...
