A museum in Xi'an, China, feeling the heat from the internet, has reversed its decision to kick out a litter of stray cats.
According to China Daily, the Forest of Stone Steles Museum came to the initial decision to evict the strays after a visitor complaint was filed (http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/china/2016-07/26/content_26219291.htm) on Wednesday, which involved a child that was scratched by a protective mother cat after he tried to play with its kittens.*
The stray cats are reported to have made the museum their home, and are regularly featured (http://en.people.cn/n3/2016/0725/c90000-9090719.html) in tourists' photos.
