ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s adviser on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz has said that shelling on in**cent Kashmiri protestors is **t acceptable under any circumstances as its amounts to violation of fundamental human rights.

Briefing the media in Islamabad Thursday on the latest situation in the Indian Held Kashmir, he said the Indian authorities have clamped curfew in most parts of the valley and people have ** access to hospitals and other facilities.

The Adviser said that state sponsored terrorism has been unleashed in the held valley to suppress the voice of Kashmiri people but it is our conviction that through this way the Indian side will **t be able to legalize its control on the territory.

Sartaj Aziz said that spontaneous and widening uprising in the held Kashmir depict the very indige**us nature of the freedom movement. He rejected the Indian allegations that Pakistan is stirring trouble in the valley.

He also rejected the Indian assertion that the situation in the valley is the internal matter of India describing it as totally legally untenable and violation of the UN Security Council resolutions.

Sartaj Aziz said that Pakistan strongly condemns the brutal use of force by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir saying the Indian authorities can**t suppress the freedom movement through such tactics. He said that plausible resolution of the dispute lies in the granting of right of self determination to the people of Kashmir.

The Adviser said the international community including the UN Secretary General, China, the United States, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have also voiced their concerns over the Indian atrocities on the Kashmiri people.

He said Pakistan has provided and will continue to provide moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for the right to self determination. He said Pakistan will undertake all possible efforts to apprise the world community about the Indian atrocities. We have already briefed the ambassadors of different countries about the situation in occupied Kashmir.

Responding to a question, the adviser said that Pakistan desires **rmal relations with India and resumption of dialogue process for resolution of all outstanding issues. But India has always avoided the talks.
