LAHORE: A guardian court on Wednesday issued bailable arrest warrants of Fiza Batool Gilani, daughter of ex-premier Yusuf Raza Gilani, for **t appearing before the court despite being summoned.
Judge Shazia Makhdoom passed these orders on an application filed by Khurram Khan, the ex-husband of Fiza Batool.The petitioner had filed an application submitting that his former wife was **t allowing him to meet their son. He requested the court to let him visit his son and ensure his former spouse follows the law.
The court summoned the respondent many times, but she failed to appear.On Wednesday, the court took strict **tice of her absence and issued bailable arrest warrants for September 3. The court ordered the police concerned to ensure her presence on the next hearing.
