LAHORE: Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif slammed India on Wednesday for its atrocities in occupied Kashmir and warned that the country could **t contain the voice of freedom via force.
PM Nawaz said that India could neither prevent people from thinking **r raising their voices. He ordered all government officials to wear black armbands as a sign of their solidarity with Kashmiris.
"** one should be allowed to violate the principles of humanity," said Nawaz. "India has promised the world it would provide the right of self-determination to the Kashmiris," he said.
PM Nawaz said that Pakistan stood with its brothers in Kashmir during their difficult hour. Nawaz also said that the United Nations had declared Kashmir a disputed territory.
"The movement for freedom in Kashmir will **t stop," he warned. "We will never leave Kashmiris alone," he said.
He also said that India's claim that the crisis in Kashmir was its internal problem, was ridiculous. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that India should realized that if the masses settle for a decision, then even arms won't stand in their way.
He further said that India can**t, under any circumstances, refer to the problem of Kashmir as their internal issue.
"Pakistanis have a long-standing relationship with Kashmiris," he said. "India has ** other option but to accept its defeat."
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also questioned as to why the abuse of human rights of Kashmiris was **t a topic for discussion in the United Nations?
