World Emoji Day is really a thing, and it happened today.*
You'll be forgiven if you missed it, but one person who didn't was Silicon Valley (http://mashable.com/category/silicon-valley/?utm_campaign=Mash-BD-Synd-Tango-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-BD-Synd-Tango-All-Partial) star TJ Miller.

Many people found emoji-fueled ways to celebrate the totally real and **t-at-all made up holiday.
But the best was Miller, who teamed up with Sony Animation to make this fake audition reel for a very real movie based on, you guessed it, emojis.*
The Emoji Movie may seem like a joke but, in a day and age when a Trolls movie (http://www.dreamworks.com/trolls/) is being released a good 20 years after that toy's commercial peak ended, apparently **thing is out of bounds when it comes to new movie fodder.
