PESHAWAR: Awami National Party-Wali (ANP-W) Chairperson Begum Nasim Wali Khan on Wednesday an**unced to launch a protest campaign against the possible changes in the route of China-Pakistan-Eco**mic Corridor (CPEC).

“The protest campaign will be launched from a protest gathering in Takht-e-Nusrati area of Karak district on July 24,” she said while addressing a press conference here. Flanked by provincial president of the party Farid Toofan and others, she said that the protest campaign could be the last movement of her life, but she would continue the struggle till restoration of the actual route of the project.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Said Alam Mahsud, chief of the Ulassi Tehrik, said that the new route via Lahore would deepen the differences between the federating units.He added that the move would also make the project controversial. Dr Said Alam Mahsud said that the original route of CPEC via Peshawar, Kohat and Dera Ismail Khan should be restored.
