KARACHI: The paramilitary Rangers in Sindh on Wednesday issued a statement regarding the detention of an influential personality, Asad Kharral, in Larkana. The spokesman for the Rangers Sindh said on the basis of factual information they interrogated a person namely Asad Kharral in Larkana. During the course of investigation, some influential persons related to Kharral interfered with the course of the investigation. The person in question had in the past been involved in providing assistance tocriminal elements, including eight accused persons carrying headmoney and 12 other accused absconding from law. The Sindh Rangers has taken cognizance of the situation and clarified that there would be ** compromise on the issue of ensuring the writ of law.
