Rabbani flays Indian atrocities on Kashmiris in IHK

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate, Mian Raza Rabbani, on Tuesday condemned in the strongest terms the use of state terrorism by India on in**cent, peaceful civilians, exercising their democratic right of protest in Held Kashmir. In a statement, he remarked, “The use of state terrorism by India on in**cent, peaceful civilians exercising their democratic right of protest in Occupied Kashmir is condemned in the strongest terms”. These atrocities of India on the people of Occupied Kashmir, he asserted, were a blatant violation of international **rms and fundamental rights particularly the right of life, right of freedom of expression, right of peaceful protest and the right of peaceful assembly. Such blatant violation of internationally recognised rights is deplorable. “The double standards of the world have once again been exposed as they watch silently the massacre of in**cent civilians. It is strange how India’s new strategic partners continue to watch in silence these crude violations of international **rms,” he maintained. Rabbani said, “History of the struggling people is witness to the fact that legitimate and lawful rights can**t be suppressed through state oppression”.
