ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has informed the visiting United Arab Emirates (UAE) delegation led by its Minister Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan that the government has launched Operation Zarb-e-Azb to wipe out the menace of terrorism from Pakistan’s soil and we are fully satisfied with the successes made in this regard.
He said that his government made the obvious choices of putting the country on track to attain durable peace, sustainable eco**mic growth and massive infrastructure development.
The UAE minister said on the occasion that Pakistan was fast becoming an ideal destination for foreign investors owing to the transparent, fair and incentives-based investment policies of the government. The UAE dignitary called on him on Tuesday at the Prime Minister’s House, Lahore, as a leader of a delegation of his country’s entrepreneurs.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan is also Chairman of Warid Telecom International and Abu Dhabi Group, Union National Bank, and United Bank Limited. Other delegates included Chief Executive ******rs (CEO) of VimpelCom Ltd, Mobilink, Al-falah Bank and members Board of Directors Abu Dhabi Group and UAE Ambassador to Pakistan Eissa Abdulla Al-Basha Al-Nuaimi.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan extended his heartfelt congratulations on the successful surgery and consequent recovery of the prime minister. Appreciating the leadership role of the prime minister, the Prince said that Pakistan had shown tremendous improvement in almost all sectors of the eco**my over the last three years. “Your leadership has enabled Pakistan to witness rapid eco**mic growth and attract foreign investments. You have greatly helped your country achieve its true image worldwide”, added Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.
