Two days after releasing the second developer betas of iOS 10 (http://www.macrumors.com/2016/07/05/apple-seeds-ios-10-beta-2/) and macOS Sierra (http://www.macrumors.com/2016/07/05/apple-seeds-macos-sierra-beta-2/) for testing, Apple today is launching its public beta program for the forthcoming updates, allowing a broader cross section of users to test out the new features and report bugs to Apple (via The Verge (http://www.theverge.com/2016/7/7/12116256/mac-os-sierra-public-beta-2-available-install-apple) and CNET (http://www.cnet.com/news/ios-10-public-beta-is-here-and-this-is-what-you-can-do-with-it/)).
Update: Public betas of iOS 10 (http://www.macrumors.com/2016/07/07/ios-10-public-beta/) and macOS Sierra (http://www.macrumors.com/2016/07/07/macos-sierra-public-beta/) are **w available.

There is ** charge for participating in the public beta program, but Apple strongly recommends users install the betas on secondary devices as bugs and other issues can cause problems for users during the testing process.
