Slick action indie game 'Tokyo 42' channels 'Grand Theft Auto'

The brightly colored isometric cityscape created by SMAC Games is built around a shooting-and-exploration-and-stealth-driven action game — think old school Grand Theft Auto — but it's the setting that draws you in first.
This newly released video highlights some of the game's basic mechanics and flow — there's also a cat — but really, it's just a**ther excuse to peer more into Tokyo 42's imaginative open world.
The trailer also an**unces a 2017 release, so you have some time to choose a name for that cat.
